In these Covid times I'd love to share the sense of awe I have when I actually see these little pathogens under the microscope. Here I have created strange landscapes featuring various known and feared bacteria and viruses, against a backdrop of microscope pictures and SEMs (scanning electron micrographs).
Click here to find your "favourite" pathogen: adenovirus, borrelia, candida albicans, chicken pox, chlamydia, covid, hepatitus C, herpes, HIV, influensa, legionella, listeria, mononucleosis, mumps, norovirus>, papilloma, rubella, salmonella, shigella, streptococc, tetanus, zika .

These pictures were shown at an exhibition in Ursvik harbour, in connection with the Art-in-Follo Festival 2021. They are 44 x 19 cm. The pictures have also been used as the basis for a series of Beautiful Pathogens column installations, see here.
