Ice cubes

These "ice cubes" were originally created for the the first member's exhibition at the Water Tower Gallery after the pandemic. They are small lamps, 15x15x15 cm, printed on akryllic plates with a light bulb inside, that can be adapted to hang or to stand on a surface.

These pictures can also be sold as individual light installations printed on acrylic for backlighting, with black or white wooden casing and LED-lights. Any picture on this website can be taylored into a lamp or and ice cube, so contact us if you would like to make your own combination. Contact Rowen Sivertsen. See also our lamps, and our coffee tables and hexagonal ceiling lamps.

The pictures are created from microscope and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) images of pathogenic viruses and bacteria layered into scenes with ice crystals photographed by myself. Rowen is responsible for the pictures, Frank for the design and 3-D printing of the frames.
