Beautiful Pathogens Installations
These columns were on display at Vestfossen Art Laboratory 9th- 24th October 2021, in connection with NFUK's Annual exhibition. They were given their own small room, where they could stand alone in the dark.
The installation, consisting of 3 columns, 180cm, 160 cm and 140 cm, and were originally designed to stand in the deep shade. The columns are meant to function as "windows in the forest", drawing the attention of passers-by to the small details of the busy life forms around us, which we rarely stop to consider. Now, in Covid times, it seems relevant that the windows should depict all the despised but beautiful pathogens around us, and cast them in a new light.

As demonstrated at the Vestfossen Art Laboratory, this installation also works fine in a gallery, in a corner away from the direct spotlights. If you would be interested in having them on display, or purchasing them, contact rowen@birchtreeroad.com
